The group led by Alessio Lerose at KU Leuven is opening new PhD position(s) in theoretical physics, funded through an Odysseus grant by the Flemish Research Foundation (FWO).

 

The proposed research projects broadly concern novel theoretical and computational approaches to non-equilibrium quantum many-body dynamics and strongly correlated matter; thermalization and non-thermal states of matter; interactive quantum dynamics; quantum simulation.

Applications received by 5th May 2025 will be given priority. 

 

The starting date is flexible. The standard duration of the contract is 4 years. Employment conditions and salary scales are internationally competitive, and can be found at this link.
