Since the QED vacuum is necessarily invisible to any quantum detector, including our own eyes, an experimental Test is proposed based on atomic "spontaneous-emission" (SE). The simple (SE) test-device should be carried in the sky by a Mission spacecraft. Care studentesse e cari studenti, il prossimo 11 giugno si terrà, al Polo Didattico San Rossore, la seconda edizione del "Paper Day" organizzato dal Career Service di Ateneo in collaborazione con Confindustria Toscana Nord. L'incontro, rivolto a studenti laureandi o neolaureati di tutto l'ateneo, punta a descrivere la realtà del settore cartario (in particolare le aziende toscane) come possibile opportunità di lavoro. Le aziende presenti avranno l'opportunità di presentarsi e di discutere con gli studenti interessati. Per chi non fosse già a conoscenza dell'evento, inoltro questa comunicazione AISF. Faccio notare che c'è la registrazione, non credo ci siano ancora molti posti. Buona serata Stefano --- Siamo lieti di invitarvi alla cerimonia di apertura di *Lights of Tuscany 2025*, che si terrà giovedì 15 maggio a partire dalle ore 14:00, presso la Sala Baleari. L’evento sarà inaugurato dai saluti istituzionali da parte di rappresentanti della Regione Toscana, del Comune di Pisa, del Dipartimento di Fisica e di altre realtà accademiche e scientifiche del territorio. A seguire, avremo l’onore di ospitare la conferenza plenaria del Prof. Dr. Giacomo Scalari, professore ordinario presso l’ETH di Zurigo, intitolata “*Ultrastrong Light-matter coupling at THz frequencies with 2-dimensional systems*”.
